Many cleaning products that come in contact with your beautiful jewelry that can take off the finish. Why? Because of the harsh chemicals.

Don't Wear Jewelry In Pool or at the Spa

Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in jewelry causing your awesome bangle or necklace to change color.

Don't Use Jewelry Cleaner

Cleaner made for silver, gold, or platinum is way too harsh for fashion jewelry which is usually plated with these precious metals. 

Don't Put on Lotion or Perfume with your Jewelry on

For the same reasons listed above, lotions and perfumes that are not 100% natural can react unfavorably with your jewelry. 

Basically, keep your jewelry away from the following:

  • dish-washing soap
  • lotion
  • perfume

  • other harsh chemicals

Put Your Jewelry on After You Put Your Clothes on and Before Your Take Your Clothes Off

Doing this will ensure that your clothing doesn't get caught on your sweater or t-shirt during the clothing removal process. An accidental pull of your necklace while taking off your shirt can cause a chain or string to break!

When performing mundane and fun tasks, such as laundry, cooking, or gardening, remove your jewelry to prevent physical damage or exposure to cleaning chemicals or cleaning fluids.

Put Jewelry On After Applying Hairspray and Makeup 

This goes back to keeping your jewelry dry. Perfumes, hairspray, lotion, and makeup usually contains harsh chemicals that can damage your beautiful jewelry. By waiting until you are all done your beauty routine you can avoid potential damage.

Keep Your Jewelry Secure

Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or other secure container that will prevent your baubles from moving around. You can also store your jewelry in a silk or velvet pouch and put each pouch in a decorative shoe box. 

Use Anti-tarnish Paper

When storing your fashion jewelry try wrapping each piece in anti-tarnish paper. If you don't have anti-tarnish paper use an eyeglass cloth instead!

Avoid Air! 

The air around us is what makes metal tarnish. We recommend using a Ziploc or sandwich bag with the air squeezed out to prevent oxidization.

Shipping Information: 

*Free shipping is offered on all orders over $100 within the continental United States. 

*Orders under $100 are shipped at a flat rate of $8

*International, Hawaiian and Canadian shipping will be calculated separately.

*UPS can not deliver to PO Boxes. 

*Items that are purchased will be shipped within 1-3 business days excluding weekends and holidays.  All packages will have a tracking number emailed to you once your items are shipped.  Once a package has been handed to the shipping carrier, we cannot be held responsible for delayed or lost packages.

*We also cannot be held responsible for shipping delays due to things beyond our control such as hazardous weather or other service interruptions that affect mail delivery.  

*We will not be held liable for incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer during the checkout process. Please make sure your shopping address is correct and that all pertinent information, such as the house number, suite number, or apartment number are included and are correct.

Return Information: 

We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after purchasing your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Items can not smell like perfume or body odor. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We hope that you love your purchase, but do understand that returns are sometimes needed.  We would love to accommodate you by accepting your return in the form of a store credit.  Our return policy states that you can return items within 2 weeks from the original date of purchase as long as they are unworn, do not have stains or odors, have their original tags, and you have your original receipt.  All holiday and seasonal items are not eligible for returns.  Your credit will be applied for the price of the item and will not include any shipping and handling charges. 

We strive to prove the absolute best quality and service.  If an item arrives to you in damaged or defective condition, please contact us within 3 days from the original date of purchase and let us know.  Please include a picture of the defect and your order number (found at the bottom of every receipt). We will email or call you with instructions for the return for a full refund. The item must arrive back to the shop within 14 days of the original purchase. 

Items that are eligible for return:

  • Merchandise purchased in store or online within 14 days of the shipped date
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • Items must have the original tags attached
  • Items must be stain free (no deodorant or make up stains)
  • Items must be odor free (no perfume, smoke or body odors)
  • Shoes must be unworn and clean with no sign of wear

Items NOT eligible for Return:

Items that were discounted 50% or more are considered FINAL sale. No exceptions.  Black Friday, Pink Friday, Small Business Saturday, any other special holiday sales, and doorbusters are considered FINAL SALE. If a Final Sale item is shipped back to us, the item will be marked “Return to Sender” and returned to the sender by the shipping carrier at the expense of the customer.

If you do return an item

*We do recommend that you ensure your package before sending it back.  USPS, UPS, and FEDEX sometimes lose packages. Bead Bloom Boutique is not liable for items that are lost in transit.

*Return shipping costs- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

*Please allow 7 business days for us to process your return after it has been received. 

*Exchanges- to exchange an item, please send us a message with the change in size or color.  If the item is available in the requested size or color, we will make the exchange for you. If the requested item is unavailable, we can issue you a store credit. 

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products and all undergarments). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, all Holiday themed items, or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
Refunds will be issued if your item was received in damaged condition.  We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
